Please read these terms carefully before participating in our programmes or using our website.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Bridgeway Works. These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Bridgeway Works ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website (bridgewayworks.org) as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website, or community portals related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto.

By accessing our website, subscribing to our newsletter, applying for our employability and soft-skills training programmes, or registering as an employer partner, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with all of these terms, then you are expressly prohibited from using the website and participating in our programmes, and you must discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility & Programme Enrollment

Bridgeway Works focuses on supporting young people (aged 16+), school leavers, women returning to work, NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) individuals, career changers, migrants, and refugees within the UK.

To participate in our training programmes or submit applications through our website, you agree to the following guidelines:

  • Minimum Age: You must be at least 16 years of age to apply for our training courses or participate in our community career workshops.
  • Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during enrollment, registration, or contact form submissions.
  • Safe Space Conduct: Admission to any of our physical or digital training courses is at our absolute discretion. We reserve the right to refuse admission or suspend a participant from any programme if they violate our community standard guidelines.

3. User Conduct & Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website and participate in our online networks only for lawful purposes. You are prohibited from using our services or site to:

  1. Harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, defame, or otherwise infringe or violate the rights of any other user, learner, mentor, staff member, or employer partner.
  2. Submit false or misleading details on registration forms, CV uploads, or support requests.
  3. Transmit any materials containing software viruses, malware, or computer codes designed to disrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of our website hosting server or IT systems.
  4. Engage in unauthorized commercial marketing, spam, chain letters, or search engine manipulation representing Bridgeway Works without express written authorization.
  5. Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our private databases, administrative user logins, or system frameworks.

Violating these conduct terms may result in immediate suspension from our employability programmes and removal from all Bridgeway Works communication networks, and, where appropriate, referral to local authorities.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the website, including all source code, databases, website architectures, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, graphics, logos, and trademarks contained therein, are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the United Kingdom, foreign jurisdictions, and international conventions.

Our soft-skills training documents, career advice templates, CV formats, and learning worksheets distributed during training sessions are the sole property of Bridgeway Works. They are provided to you for your **personal, non-commercial educational use** only. You may not republish, distribute, sell, or license any of our educational curricula or resources without our explicit prior written consent.

5. Account Registration & Security

If you create a candidate portal account, employer dashboard, or register credentials with our system, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to immediately notify Bridgeway Works at info@bridgewayworks.org of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

By registering on our platform or applying for programmes, you consent to receive electronic communications (e.g. email, SMS, WhatsApp alerts) related to your course scheduling, career mentorship opportunities, and job placements, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

The information provided on our website is for general informational and educational purposes only. While we endeavor to keep all program details, course availability, and employer requirements accurate and up to date, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the website content.

Employment Guarantees: While Bridgeway Works maintains extensive partnerships with top-tier UK employers across Transportation, Care, Construction, and IT, and provides outstanding employability training, **we do not guarantee job placement or successful recruitment** for every applicant. Successful employment depends on candidate performance, external employer hiring processes, and market conditions.

In no event shall Bridgeway Works, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of, or inability to use, our website or programmes.

7. Placements & External Partnerships

Our website connects learners directly to external training platforms, employer websites, and partner schemes (e.g. driving schools, construction certifying bodies). Once you click on these third-party links or participate in off-site internships arranged through Bridgeway Works:

  • You acknowledge that those third-party services operate under their own separate Terms of Use and Privacy Policies, which Bridgeway Works does not control.
  • We are not responsible or liable for the content, privacy practices, or safety standard compliance of any third-party websites or learning environments.
  • You agree to comply fully with the professional code of conduct and safety regulations of any employer or vocational school you are placed with.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use and your relationship with Bridgeway Works shall be governed by, interpreted, and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use, your website usage, or your training programme participation shall be brought exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. This jurisdiction clause does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
